Jarod has new glasses. Poor kid is near sighted like his parents. We have learned that when you are near-sighted, your eyesight changes Every. Single. Time. You. Grow. He's been growing a lot in the past few months and when I took him in to get his eyes examined, he was seeing 20/100 with his old pair! The kid couldn't see!!!!! (Talk about feeling like a horrible mother!)
The Dr. said that every time I notice him grow even a half inch - to bring him in because his eyes will change then too. Ugh! Anyway, Jarod picked out these stylish frames and they look great on him! Ignore the stickers, of course. These were the sample pair in the store. We picked up his glasses on Monday and he's been too busy camping, spending the night with friends, going to Boy Scout meetings, etc..... for me to get another photo! At least I can be certain that as he is doing all his fun stuff, he can see......for now.
Anne has lost her second tooth. During Dance class, this time. She did manage to hang on to it and bring it home. The Tooth Fairy was so thankful that she gave her a little extra this time!
As you can see from this photo, her permanent teeth are already coming in. She has a cute little lisp right now but it won't be for long. I don't think there are any other loose ones to speak of.
Never did see her first one - but I wasn't planning on keeping an eye open for it! LOL!
Anne had a busy week. The Zoo on Wednesday and an Easter Egg Hunt at school on Thursday. This is one of three she will have this year!
Getting lined up to hunt!
72 students x 8 eggs each = 576 scattered eggs to be hunted!
And they're off!
It didn't take Anne long to collect her 8 eggs.
Checking it all out

Tomorrow we will hunt eggs at the church and then the kids will do it again at Nana's on Sunday afternoon.
I pray that everyone has a wonderful Easter Weekend as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!
Happy Easter!!!!
