Tragedy

I would love to be able to tell you about our trip to Disney.  It was awesome!  But - it just doesn't seem appropriate today.  I received a phone call last night after we arrived home from Orlando that my cousin, Nicki, was killed in a car accident while driving to her mothers.  She was only 31.  The entire family is devastated.  Please pray.  I am currently making arrangements to go to Illinois for the funeral.  This is my mom's side of the family.  Melva, Nicki's mom, was a huge help to me while I was caring for mom.  Nicki is her only child. Somehow, the rest of my Christmas preparations this week just don't seem very important.

Oh, Cami...what devastating news. I'll be praying for the family to feel God's peace and comfort at this sad time. I just got home from my GriefShare meeting, and now to hear your news... life is hard, but God is good. Cling to that.
Love,
Amy

Cami, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin. It's always difficult to lose someone, but this time of year seems harder. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
