Anne hasn't been around Melva much. They met briefly when Anne was a year old. You wouldn't have been able to tell that yesterday though. Anne loved her immediately and can't wait for her to return.
These two go way back! We shared lots of fond memories yesterday of when Jarod was little and we were living with and caring for my mom. Jarod was the blessing that kept us laughing and he helped to make the situation more bearable. It's still hard to believe that was over 7 years ago.
Melva got to meet our sweet Chloe for the first time.
Having a little chat with Anne. I think it had to do with the size of a brownie! Ha!
Jarod gave us a mini concert last night. He's coming along with his guitar lessons.
Anyway - it was good to spend some time together under better circumstances. Please pray for Melva and Roger as they continue to grieve the loss of my cousin, Nicki. It's going to be a long road. It was so good to see her smile and hear her laugh even though I know she is still hurting so very deeply. God is working and doing amazing things in her situation - but it's still very difficult.
We love you Melva and Roger - come for a visit any time. Our doors are always open!!!
