Youth Camp - Lake Yale 2010

We took off last Sunday after church for Youth Camp at Lake Yale near Leesburg, FL.  I attended this camp as a teen and Russ surrendered to the ministry here when he was 16.  We also took our youth from our church in Folkston, GA, so this camp holds many memories for us both. 

I'll have to admit that getting myself there was a huge struggle.  So many obstacles and I was so tempted to just stay home.  But I am thankful now that I didn't as God had great plans for the week.  He changed lives and drew us together as we studied about unity.  It's always awesome to be a part of something like this.

She's just a natural camper!  After 6 weeks in the woods in Oregon when she was 3 - this was nothing!

Jarod got to be with the campers this year.  He had a great time!

This is Blake and Preston.  They are twins and they both adore Anne.  Can you tell which one Anne favors?  Ugh!  We are sooooo in for it!

All 177 campers and adults.  It was an awesome week!

Anne played drums while Blake and Preston sang Jesus Loves Me with our Camp Pastor.  You go Anne girl!!!

Now we settle in to a little more normal summer routine.  Anne starts Dance Camp on Tuesday and then we have VBS at Ocean Park the following week.  Thanks for your prayers and I'll keep you updated......
