Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet

Monday night was Jarod's annual Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts.  I thought I would share a few pictures.

Receiving some of his Webelos advancements.  Jarod also received his Webelos Compass Emblem.  So he is one step closer to his Arrow of Light!  This time next year he will be a Boy Scout!!!  Way to go Jarod!  We are proud of you!

Zander received his Arrow of Light and had his Crossing Over Ceremony.  He is now a Boy Scout.  Way to go Zander!!!

 

I couldn't leave out this picture.  This is Zander's little brother, William.  He is just way too cute!!!

The Coolest Purse!

I am not a purse person!  I don't have to have one to match every outfit.  I don't have to have the latest and the cutest.  Frankly - I'm practical when it comes to purses.  I buy one every year or so and use it until it wears out.  There has never been this purse that I have "just had to have".  I look for functionality, for cell phone pockets, for places to put my lipstick.  Until today......

 

How cool is that????

A Spontaneous Trip to St. Augustine

We took off today for St. Augustine.  We had 65 sunny degrees and a free day so Russ suggested a trip!  What fun we had!!!  I thought I would share a few photos of the kids.

Jarod and Anne found these cool DragonFlies that will balance anywhere.  Even on your bottom lip!

On a different note - I had an exciting find....if you are a Calligrapher!

It's a remake of an old fashioned Ink Well.  When I saw it, my jaw dropped and I just had to have it.  I usually don't splurge on myself but Russ convinced me.  I have been mixing my ink colors in the plastic measuring cups that come with Children's Tylenol bottles.  Time to step up in the world!

OOOHHHHH!  I just can't wait to use it!!!!!

Tomorrow is the UNF Bridal Show!  Anticipating a large crowd!  Until next time....

Corrie's First Birthday

 

Yesterday was Corrie's first birthday!  She is our great-niece (Russell's sister's grand-daughter - did you get all that?)  Anyway, we had a little party for her and I thought I would share a few pics!

On a different note, we continue to be very busy.  The wedding season has kicked in and I am learning how to juggle my church job and my Calligraphy at night.  It makes for some really late nights and early mornings but so far, so good.  The work is a blessing and I cannot complain.  I'm excited to see how much my business has grown in the last 5 years.  It's amazing to see how God took my talent and turned it into a successful source of income for our family, and I really enjoy it!
